Each lesson at Talha Driving School lasts 2 hours, as this duration is ideal for reinforcing learning, helping muscle memory to develop, and ensuring each topic is fully understood and practised without feeling rushed.
2. What age can I start driving lessons?
In the UK, you can start driving lessons from the age of 17, as long as you hold a valid provisional driving licence. However, if you receive the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), you can start lessons from the age of 16.
3. Can I start lessons without passing the theory test?
Yes, you can start driving lessons with Talha Driving School before passing your theory test. In fact, many learners find that taking practical lessons alongside studying for the theory test helps them understand the rules of the road more effectively.
4. What is your cancellation policy?
Talha Driving School requires at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
5. How many lessons will I need before the driving test?
The number of lessons varies for each learner, depending on previous experience, confidence, and how quickly you progress. The DVSA recommends around 45 hours of professional lessons plus 20 hours of private practice. However, some learners may need fewer, while others may benefit from more to feel fully prepared and confident for the test.
6. How do I pay for lessons?
You can pay for your lessons at Talha Driving School in cash or online via bank transfer. For block bookings, payment is usually made in advance to secure your discounted rate.
7. Do Talha Driving School offer intensive driving courses?
Yes, Talha Driving School offers intensive driving courses for learners who want to pass their test more quickly. These courses are designed to suit your availability and experience level, helping you build confidence and skills in a shorter period of time.
8. Can I choose between manual and automatic lessons at Talha Driving School?
Yes, Talha Driving School provides both manual and automatic driving lessons. You can choose the option that best suits your preference and comfort, whether you want full control with a manual car or a simpler experience with an automatic vehicle.
